Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation 3 is the next team-battle game in the Battle Operation series. Bandai Namco opened the game's own site on 28 Oct 2026 and listed a Steam page the same week. Both still say the release date is to be announced.

You enlist as a mercenary, take a mobile suit into a team fight, and can leave the cockpit when the objective needs boots on the ground. Between sorties, Base Camp is the hub where players meet. That is the frame the store text and the system page actually give. Suit stats, map lists for the full game, and a checkout price are not in those pages.
Before you sortie
- Wishlist on Steam if you want the page to ping you. The base game is free to play, with some paid content. There is no buyout price on the spec table.
- The player count on that table is 1-18. The closed test uses smaller rooms inside that range.
- Platforms listed: PlayStation 5 and Steam. You need a PlayStation Network account or a Steam account, plus an internet connection. Connection fees are on you.
- PC notes say a 64-bit processor and operating system. Further requirements are marked TBA.
- A Japan-only closed network test is set for 20 and 22 Nov 2026. That is a test, not the release. Read the closed network test page before you assume you can join.
- Do not hunt this site for a redeem code. There isn't one here.

Straight answers
Is it out? No. The date is still to be announced. See Release date.
Is it free? The spec table says free to play, and that some content is paid. Steam has not opened a checkout price. Do not treat the Steam catalog flag as a box price.
Can I get out of the suit? Yes. Infantry plant a base bomb, call support fire, and take objectives. The write-up is on what it is.
Where do I read next? What it is, then platforms and languages, then the closed network test if you play Battle Operation 2 in Japan. Wishlist is the short pointer to Steam.
